On The Move has made its fourth stop in Byblos Cultural Center from 10th – 14th December 2014. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Byblos could reach a large Lebanese and international audience in the historic souk of Byblos, World Heritage Site and the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world.

The exhibition included an overview of environmental, agricultural and educational projects implemented by SPNL (Birdlife Lebanon) our On the Move partner in Lebanon. Over 400 school children visited the exhibition. These children could  also participate in special activities such as the construction of bird nests and bird whistlers and natural jewelry making. In addition to the opening of Souk El Hima, where handmade crafts, made from natural elements by local communities mainly women from the Hima sites, were displayed. This has spread the awareness and importance of many cultural practices linked to nature.

During the Opening ceremony, the Lebanese photographer Asaad Saleh was honoured for his highly appreciated contribution to the On the Move exhibition.
